We are proud of our city and we want to make sure it continues to look beautiful. We believe that doing the everyday little things are what makes a community. Throughout our city, we see neighbors helping neighbors, picking up litter, sweeping sidewalks, participating in events and volunteering in our community. These unsung heroes are deserving of our recognition and the thanks of our community.

Kudos Kirkland! is a campaign to promote the individuals and businesses in our community working to make Kirkland a better place in which to live, work and play.

Founded by neighborhood residents, our mission is to encourage good stewardship of our local businesses, parks and neighborhoods. Our strategy is simple and inexpensive to implement.

 

We are asking businesses and individuals to commit to:

Business

  • Maintain an attractive storefront. This includes sweeping your sidewalk clear of debris & litter.
  • Watering and weeding flower pots that are in the vicinity of your storefront.
  • Be an active member of our community. Support community events whenever possible.
  • Display / promote local events.
  • Volunteer.

Individual

  • Pick up litter when you can.
  • Participate in community events.
  • Act as an ambassador for our city.
  • Favor businesses which are good stewards of our community & members of Kudos Kirkland!
  • Volunteer.

Kudos Kirkland! engages both businesses and residents in improving our community. This campaign will make a visible difference in the appearance and experience of Kirkland.
